If anyone out there watches 4400, you might recognise Alana as Tom Baldwin's girlfriend. Her appearance debuted on "Life Interrupted" (don't know if I spelt it right though). Tom woke up one day and found himself in a completely new world with Alana as his wife. His new life is perfect but not exactly real. So he keeps stressing that he was in a different reality but OBVIOUSLY no one believed him. His luck turns around when he finds that his "wife" was from the same reality as him and she also does not know what's going on.
























As predicted, the two fall in love and they live comfortably in this perfect world for a couple of years until Tom stumbles upon the truth- Alana had made this perfect world and somewhere out there, the real world in which he came from was depending on him. So anyway, back to her. Tom engages in a conversation with another Alana (I know, it's a little profound) and she stressed that if he wanted to go back, he had to face the consequences and she had to find a way to get Alana to change the reality they were living in. There, just like that, Tom encounters the first test of their relationship. Alana did bring them back in the end and the episode was really well written.
